Some accounts, in particular savings and investments can be grouped together to reflect how you often have a single account on a platform within which you can track multiple savings products. To handle this, Family Finance Manager allows for some accounts to have a group option which you can use to help simplify your accounts structure.
On the Accounts Page, click the account to open the account details page.
Alternatively, use the keyboard to highlight the account and then press Enter.
Also, you can right click the account and select Open details.
On the Accounts Details Page you can either click the Change button next to the group details.
Or alternatively click the Change Group option in the menu.
The dialog will only show those account groups that are applicable to the account type.
You can use the scroll button to select the right option.
Or filter the list by typing into the search box.
Then press Enter to make the changes.
The changes will be reflected in the Account Details page.
And the Account List page will now show the account nested under the selected group.
